    Job Short Description

     

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps methodologies, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure for our fast-growing platform.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
    • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IAC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and also Ansible for config management.
    • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the high availability and performance of our platform.
    • Configure and manage containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes (k8s), to deploy, scale, and orchestrate microservices.
    • Implement and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS & DigitalOcean).
    • Optimize the performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of our infrastructure through performance analysis and resource management.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, collaborating closely with development and QA teams.
    • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and trends, continuously improving the DevOps processes and tooling.
    • Document processes and systems, ensuring knowledge is shared and easily accessible within the team.

     

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Github Actions or similar.
    • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
    • In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated services.
    • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and tool development.
    • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of networking, security, and Linux/Unix administration.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.

     

    Nice-To-Haves:

    • Knowledge of blockchain technology and familiarity with the dapp ecosystem.
    • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
    • Certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps methodologies.
